Why training? Is this important?
Skills are not acquired by accident.
The 1958 movie “Gigi” is an example of how much effort is applied in training to prepare for being a Courtesan (a kept mistress of wealthy men-YIKES!&@%^£¥). How much effort is put into providing information that will result in children’s abilities to be truly successful in life? Are there parenting classes offered throughout the public school system? Building these successful pathways is what SLP believes is much MORE important! We desire to effectively train people that have been chartered with preparing the citizens of the next generation! Intentional planning leads to intentional learning. . . Good behavior doesn’t happen by accident.

- There’s always money for what’s important
- There’s always time for what’s important
- There’s always SOMETHING that’s important
Hmmmmmm
If your child does not behave the way you what then you need to make a change.
Children behave as they are taught. So take responsibility for their behavior that you have created by your incorrect actions.
Questions to ask:
What are the most important things I want for my child?
Your answers should be :
To love God all their days.
To love others more than themselves.
To be faithful stewards of what God has blessed them with.
Be a force for the Kingdom.
Keep them in your care to be taught by you!
To hand them to someone else for the first 18 years of their life to be taught by another is the folly of today's wisdom!
We know these words may rest harsh on the ears of those who find themselves in difficult situations. It may be impossible to make these changes overnight. But remember Andy’s 3 Laws and put them to the test!
